It’s a nice thought… 

but too fairy-tale-romantic-comedy-ish for me. I don’t think you always end up with the person you are “designed” to be with. Everything is just one big coincidence resulting from choices that you yourself make and the way I think it works is: you meet someone, you date, you fall in love, and you put one hundred percent effort into the relationship. There could be a person out there who is completely compatible for you on every level but I don’t believe this person just falls into your lap by design. For all I know, there’s a girl in France, China, Australia, or even some one local a few miles away that’s perfect for me in every way that I’ll never ever meet. That’s not such a bad thing, because you won’t even know. You’ll meet someone, you’ll fall in love, and it won’t be perfect but it will be real.
